Color, flags and friendship is how Brooklyn will celebrate International Day of Friendship this Sunday, August 5. Beginning at 1 PM, Unity Parade of Flags honoring almost 200 countries will march from Fulton Mall in Downtown Brooklyn to the Brooklyn Borough Hall.
Throughout the day world class performances, dances and ethnic food trucks will grace the streets with fun and global engagement. Back by popular demand will also be the Global Village, with fun and educational interactions for people of all ages.
