Sonia Parechanian - Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Sonia Parechanian has extensive experience working with investors as a financial analyst and salesperson. In her 15 years on Wall Street, Sonia worked with the some of the largest and most respected financial firms in the world; Citigroup, ING Financial Markets, Swiss Re/Fox-Pitt, Kelton as well as Standard & Poor's/S&P Capital IQ.
Sonia has followed asset managers, consumer and commercial finance lenders, REIT/RIC structured companies, and retailers. With her extensive expertise and keen analytical skills, Sonia has assisted sellers and buyers, allowing them make informed decisions with an eye towards the balance sheet and their bottom line. In addition Sonia is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) which comes in handy when she stages an apartment.
A longtime resident of the West Village and Soho, this native Californian did copious amounts of research and scoured the market before choosing to call Carroll Gardens home. She now lovingly refers to South Brooklyn "What the West Village used to be." Sonia and her Pomeranians are a fixture in uptown Manhattan; she's well-known for her volunteer work/showing rescues, as well for her educational home visits for Eve's Sanctuary Animal Rescue. The animal rescue group is a 501c3 group where Sonia serves on the board of directors.
Sonia has an MBA in finance from Vanderbilt University, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara.
